My name is JD Gonzalez, and I am a Technical Project Manager based in the greater Seattle area. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Information School in 2015. With over ten years of experience, I started my career as a software engineer and have since grown into technical leadership roles, gaining deep expertise across various programming languages, platforms, and industries. I am skilled at creating original solutions to complex problems, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring teams to achieve shared goals. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest, trying my hand at new hobbies, and spending time with my family and friends. Personal Highlights

In addition to my work as a Technical Project Manager, I am actively involved in a variety of activities that reflect my values and interests. From donating blood to supporting my alma mater and leading a mens leadership and fitness group, I am dedicated to making a positive impact in all aspects of my life. I believe in creating a better world not just through my work but also by being an engaged and responsible member of my community.

Board Member

As a member of the alumni advisory board and mentor for the Information School at the University of Washington, I have the opportunity to provide feedback and support to current students, alumni, and faculty. Through both board service and one-on-one mentoring, I am committed to helping the next generation of informatics professionals achieve their goals and make an impact in their field.

Blood Donor

I am a regular donor of both blood and platelets at Bloodworks Northwest, a nonprofit organization that provides life-saving blood components to hospitals in the Pacific Northwest. Donating blood is a small but meaningful way that I can help those in need and give back to my community.

Member of F3

I am the regional Nan-Tan (president) of F3, a leadership and workout group for men. Through F3, I have been able to connect with other men who share my passion for personal growth and development, while leading and growing our community in the Pacific Northwest region through servant leadership.

Portfolio Highlights

This portfolio showcases some of my earlier side projects, which allowed me to develop my skills as a software engineer and experiment with new technologies. I have since gained valuable industry experience, including working on a modern insurance CRM at Liberty Mutual, contributing to Microsoft's Field Service and Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability solutions, and building an internal development portal and modernizing the Order Management System at Costco.
